School Meals
Nourishment is part of the school day at KKA — every meal is planned, prepared, and served with the same care we bring to the classroom.
Food that supports a full day of learning.
Children learn best when they’re well fed, well hydrated, and comfortable — so mealtimes are treated as part of the school day, not an afterthought.
Balanced & Age-Appropriate
Meals are planned with the nutritional needs of young, growing children in mind.
Prepared With Care
Food is prepared on-site under consistent hygiene and food-safety practices.
Built Into the Timetable
Set mealtimes give every child a predictable, unhurried break to eat.
Supervised Mealtimes
Staff are present at every meal to support younger children and encourage healthy eating habits.
Allergy Awareness
Parents can inform the school of any known allergies or dietary needs in advance.
Consistent Standards
The same care and standards apply across every class and every day of the term.
What parents should know.
A break meal is provided to every child, served between 10:00am and 11:00am. Children are still expected to have breakfast at home in the morning.
Children on the Day Care programme are provided with both lunch and evening tea as part of their afternoon care.
Food or drink brought in from outside the school is not permitted without express authorisation from the Head Teacher.
Chewing gum is strictly not allowed at school, for any child, at any time.
A Note on Dietary Needs
If your child has a food allergy, intolerance, or any other dietary requirement, please let the school office know in advance. We’re happy to discuss how mealtimes can accommodate your child’s needs.
