Term I is split into New Admission and Continuing pupils — new admissions pay a one-off admission fee, and uniforms, sweater, socks, P.E. kit, membership and insurance are billed once at the start of the year.

What Each Fee Covers

Break Meal

180,000/=

A break meal is prepared for all children and served between 10:00am and 11:00am. Children are still expected to have breakfast at home in the morning.

Swimming Fees

50,000/=

Covers the cost of maintaining the swimming pool and swimming lessons on the class timetable.

Development Fees

180,000/=

Enables the school to develop and maintain its infrastructure over time.

School Uniforms

90,000/=

Two school uniforms per child, paid at the start of the year.

Sweater

40,000/=

One school sweater with the child’s name embroidered on, paid at the start of the year.

P.E. Uniform

40,000/=

One pair of sports uniform, paid at the start of the year.

Bank Charges

3,000/=

Charged on every bank slip used to pay fees, every term.

Admission Fee

120,000/=

A one-off fee paid by every child on admission, contributing to the school’s general development.

Group Personal Accident Policy — 18,000/= per year

All KKA children are covered under a Group Personal Accident Policy with Britam Insurance Company Uganda. If a child has an accident anywhere in the world, Britam should be informed in writing through the Headmistress within 15 days of the accident occurring.

Extra services, only if you need them.

Day Care

Extended Afternoon Care

280,000/= per term

Runs from 12:30pm to 6:00pm and includes lunch, evening tea, rest time, and educative activities. Unlike the normal school programme (pick-up 12:30–1:00pm), Day Care children must be picked up by 6:00pm. Late pick-up is fined 7,500/= per child.

Swimming

Weekend & Holiday Lessons

5,000/= per child

Extra swimming lessons run on weekends and holidays from 10:00am to 3:30pm, in addition to the standard timetabled lessons.

Transport

School Van Scheme

For parents unable to drop or pick up their children. Vans operate within a 10km radius of the school; charges depend on distance and whether it’s a single trip or both ways.

Payment Policy
How and when to pay.

All fees must be paid in full at the bank before the beginning of each term.

No cash whatsoever is received in the school office — payments go through the bank only.

A bank charge of 3,000/= applies to every bank slip used to pay fees.

New admissions pay a one-off Admission Fee of 120,000/=, in addition to Term I costs.
